Dress for SuccessYou're up. Out of bed and bright eyed. Your head hit the pillow at 9:30pm and you're sitting on nine and a half hours of solid REM sleep. You're ready to kick ass.

Why all the prep? Big client meeting. You've done your homework, studied the facts, and rehearsed your pitch.

All that's left is a good breakfast and a stop on the way to the office to grab your standard twelve-syllable coffee.

But just when you think you've done everything you can to knock today out of the park, Miranda Wulf – style aficionado and owner of LoullouDi Image and Style – has some advice.

You better be damned sure you're wearing the right pair of socks.

Style Matters

Of course, Miranda's opinions on style are a lot more sophisticated than whether you should wear knee highs or crew cuts to the office.

Miranda is a fashion connoisseur, with a talented eye for bringing a consistent style to the workplace that fits with your organization's brand.

She stopped by Incite and explained that how an office dresses can have far-reaching effects on its brand.

We've all heard that it's what's on the inside that counts, but Miranda had some other statistics to share:

  • 55% of someone's first impression is based just on how you look
  • 38% is on how you sound
  • only 7% is based on what you say

If Clothes Could Speak

Actually, it turns out they can.

Miranda has a deep understanding of what clothes say by the way they're cut, coloured, and worn. She helped us understand the way colours are perceived and they impressions they leave on others.

When it comes down to it, dressing well is one thing, but dressing precisely for the meeting or event you're attending will give you confidence and purpose that those around you will immediately recognize.

Miranda understands style and the effect it has on your company's brand.

Here at Incite her visit gave us some great ideas of ways we can dress better and some inspiration on how to appropriately address the issue of an office dress code.

If you'd like Miranda to visit your office or have a personal consultation, you can learn more about her services on her website at http://www.loulloudi.com.
