Incite and Beaumont Credit Union Team Up to Win 2 AIM Awards

Incite has been working closely with client Beaumont Credit Union (BCU) to update its brand. This work included redesigning the BCU website and developing a relevant theme for the annual report. The results of this ongoing collaboration have been award-winning.

Beaumont Credit Union (BCU) received two Achievement in Marketing (AIM) awards at the annual Marketing Association for Credit Unions (MACU) 2010 Strategic Marketing Conference, which was held May 31–June 2, 2010, at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, B.C. There were 146 submissions in total this year across three divisions. BCU won the Achievement in Marketing Award in the Division I category for both its annual report and website.

Using the fresh, 100% local theme, Incite redesigned BCU’s website with features that made it easier to use and navigate. The site now includes a new menu, single-click navigation, warm and friendly design, a more modern look, and separate sections for Personal and Business users. The annual report also reflected the fresh, 100% local theme. Incite’s team used elements of BCU’s brand—vibrant green apple images, bright colours, and clean white space—to create a piece that resonated well with members.

The AIMEs have become the symbol of marketing excellence within the Canadian credit union system. They are an integral part of [MACU’s] two-day spring conference and are awarded at the annual AIME Awards Gala Dinner. Attracting entries from credit unions across Canada, the AIME Awards recognize the best and brightest achievements in credit union marketing, advertising, and communications.

Incite congratulates BCU on the marketing awards it received from MACU and looks forward to building further marketing momentum with BCU for many years to come.
